Earlier, Mercedes announced that the 26-year-old – who was already scheduled to stay at the Brackley based team next season – has extended his stay for 2013 and beyond with an unspecified new multi-year deal.
Bild said Rosberg, with his new contract reportedly running through 2015, “will earn around EUR 12 million” per season.
